A few thoughts I've had recently.  Thought I'd share here instead of a vague facebook status :P

The first thing that has really hit me the past couple of days: I am INCREDIBLY thankful for being single.  That's right! I said it! Ya - never hear that now do ya? I really COULD. NOT be doing what I'm about to do in my life with this mission trip and just in general if I were in a committed relationship with someone.  God has a plan for me - and right now - it's focus on God time - not focus on a man time.  Sorry guys.



Next: Can I just say HOW EXCITED I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO. STINKIN. EXCITED!!!! The excitement was recently renewed a few days ago when the leader of our trip emailed our entire team for the first time ever.  Everyone now is emailing the group introducing themselves to each other.   Just knowing the other names and where they are from gets me so incredibly giddy - I can't even explain it.  But so far that I know of, the countries that are represented: U.S.A (obviously), South Africa, Germany, Faroe Islands (I had to look it up, it's a VERY small island country between Iceland and Norway), Australia, and South Korea.  We have 5 continents represented! How awesome it that?!?! I can't wait to meet everyone!! I've never been in any group that is so incredibly diverse as this. Getting to know everyone's differences and how we will use that to our team's benefit all to glorify God is really nothing but exhilarating.

16 DAYS!!!!!!
